At Afterlee Ecovillage, we envision a pioneering community comprising 60 home sites nestled within village clusters. Our goal is to establish an Australian eco-village renowned for its innovative practices, principles, and governance.
Guided by autonomy, trust, and shared responsibility, we foster a culture of continuous learning, transparency, and mutual respect. Central to our vision is the implementation of regenerative permaculture and successional agroforestry, serving as the backbone of our farming practices. Through education, entrepreneurship, and cultural exchange, we aim to empower residents to become stewards of the land while promoting ecological resilience and social cohesion.
Together, we strive to create an inclusive multigenerational village that embodies creativity, and community spirit, inspiring positive change both locally and globally.
My vision is to create a living space that offers meaning, purpose, and safety through
connection, sharing, mutual support, creativity, and innovative projects. I see it as a hub for cutting-edge education in alternative economies, sustainability practices, permaculture, healing, and creative expression. A place where we can nurture and cultivate our humanity.
My vision is an evolving, secure, creative, authentically ecological and aesthetically appealing village that provides a good home for all that live there from the microbes up to the birds of prey circling overhead.
My vision for the Afterlee Ecovillage is to not rush ahead and develop a community that simply resembles what collectively we may be wanting to move away from. My vision is also for generations to come, that they may reflect positively on the seeds we planted.
My vision is to create a really beautiful and wholesome space for our children to grow.
My vision is an ecovillage of around 100 people living in harmony with each other, larger community and land. Growing, preparing, sewing, reaping, letting go, lifting up. Aiming to be an inspiration for future similar projects.
