A testament to faith 🌼
The first round of members came with a desire for creating something special, and a whole lot of trust in the vision Shane continues to hold for the Ecovillage.
Our initial gathering as a group was filled with laughter, hugs and good spirit as we shared about ourselves and why we wanted to join this journey. The friendships that began over that weekend together have continued to grow and deepen, enhanced by a commitment to participate in the ‘Village Development Program’ facilitated throughout the first year by Shane. This program helped shape the aspirations, culture and focus of the emerging community.
Some folks have chosen to leave the community and new folks have joined. This feels like a natural process at this stage of growth. The seeds of connection, support and loving kindness that have been planted in the hearts of our beloved Afterlee Ecovillage continue to flourish, and it feels like the ground is being well prepared for new members to join into a healthy community with a solid foundation of commitment.
